This is the plate I had made at a local metal shop ($45)
Fit very nicely inside the frame rails. Plate bolted to the top of
the class 3 reciever hitch. This allows me to still use the reciever
to plug in a clevis ect... ect...
I used some tube stock to fabricate bumper relocation mounts.
Then all that was left was to cut a giant hole in my bumper. Everything
sits slightly
off to the left. It had to be this way due to the winch gearbox being
longer then the
motor housing. No room for movement, it BARELY fit in the frame rails.
All in all this
was a quite involved project. Everything is custome. The reciever is
not in its stock
position and the truck is bodylifted, those are the two main
reasons I could fit this
setup on my rig.
